I see there are nowadays acres and acres of newspaper columns by ANC sympathetic academics and intellectuals trying to explain just how Julius Malemas EFF is bad news. What they dont seem to understand is that unlike me, who would intensely read a newspaper for page to page, skipping only the likes of Dion Changs fashion trends and these women who give advice on how turn ones kids into spoilt brats, Jujus support base dont have time to read papers with that intensity. They do buy them of course. But this only to show that theyre hip and up to date. They scan through them, going through the front page, page 3 and the the Sports Section. Theyve only recently completed tertiary and are tired of swotting. They drink Heineken and go to Shisa Nyamas. Those things dont mix with Xolela Mangcus views on how the EFF is likely to perform in the elections. E Joe, Xolela Magcu has written about Juju, have you seen? one would say; Heh? Ive been telling you Juju ke lepara, Joe. Xolela, Joe? Dis hoekom keo chaela Im going to vote for Juju. Comes a response. They just dont give a toss about what Xolela actually has to say. He wrote about Juju and thats whats important to them.
