I see these two pictures and the top one was where the doctor wrote the letter and the bottom picture was an amazing picture to me because its a picture of my baby girl with her eyes open! If you could have seen her Tuesday the whole day and when she coded, she was NOT herself! I was holding her hand and picked it up and watched it fall fast! I was trying to get any type of reaction or movement or ANYTHING! She wouldnt even open her eyes or blink or anything! I picked her arm up again and went to drop it and one arm stopped and I was so excited because it was her holding it up, then her little arms started moving in a shaking motion! I asked the nurse and she was looking as I held her hand and all of a sudden I felt her hand jerk out of mine and she drew up and was shaking, she was in a full blown seizure! Her heart rate and oxygen started dropping and as doctors ran to bedside and started screaming give me this, this med went in at this time, I need another dose, I sat on the couch TERRIFIED! Mary-Elise coded!! After what seemed like FOREVER they got her back and levels almost where they needed to be, they left the room for us to have time with her! Her nurse was still doing some stuff to her! We are praying and one of the doctors look at me and said stay up there and talk to her! Im looking at her and she still isnt doing anything! All I could do was cry, I literally laid my head down on Mary-Elises bed right beside her and held her hand! I pleaded and begged God to let my baby girl keep fighting! I was begging Mary-Elise to keep fighting, kept telling her I would fight till my last breath and that she needed to fight, her Uncle Landon Blayne Winfrey was far far away and I told her to fight for him beCause he was sad he couldnt be here and he loved her! I told her to keep fighting! I laid there waiting for her to react and she wasnt doing anything! I just wanted her to open her eyes at least clinch my hand like she ALWAYS did! She wasnt doing it! I prayed God please dont take my baby!! My baby finally opened her eyes, I thanked God with all of my heart! We still are having ups and downs but by the grace of God she is reacting today! Even if her sats arent the greatest she is reacting!!! I know she is a miracle and still a miracle in the making! Please continue to lift us up!!!! Thank you for all of the prayers!!!!
