I sincerely hope the NSA is paying attention to this message... - TopicsExpress

I sincerely hope the NSA is paying attention to this message... maybe they can pass it on to all the other branches... Today marks then 12th Anniversary of a tragedy so severe and so diluted, that more than 3,00 lives were afflicted, lost, torn, destroyed, robbed, etc... On this day 12 years ago, our beloved country became one nation... not under God, but under a totalitarian dictatorship. We now live in a "post 9/11" era, where our very lives are exposed to the whims of corporate giants... our sacred democracy is polluted by the taint and tarnish of greedy hands buying out elections, setting up private wars... 12 years ago, our soldiers no longer bore as the image of Stalwart Heroes defending a constitutional right... FREEDOM... but each became a contract, a piece of government property to be utilized in ways unforgiving. 12 years ago, we lost the last bit of our freedom at the hands of our own incompetent government, through a group of US trained assailants, and have been thrown to the winds of chaotic torment as we revisit recession after recession. No longer are jobs safe, degrees a symbol of achievement, schools a place for higher learning... No longer are we a nation brought together by a unity of internal light... we are a prison without walls. I firmly believe, and forevermore will rest upon my last breath with the ideology once expressed by Benjamin Franklin... "Where liberty dwells, there is my country." Find it in your hearts, my fellow Americans, to remember those who have sacrificed so much of their lives, smile upon the memories of those who were robbed of loved ones, of those who were stolen in the early morning Tuesday September 11, 2001. Remember the heroism and patriotic action of common men and women, all who went above and beyond the call of duty to save as many as possible. Forget not the men and women who lost their lives in service to their fellow countrymen, nor the valiant soldiers who still risk their lives while we live ours. Neglect not the sacred duty that each of us has as a living, breathing soul, of this country, that we may rise above terrorism... both foreign and domestic, that in times of hardship and dictation, the bell of liberty shall still ring true. So we may one day, yet again, taste the serenity of a new dawn, and comprehend peace. For the sake of our future generations I ask that you continue forth, and know that I have not forgotten this day, and if by chance you read anything above, you have not as well. God bless you all.
