I sing this often at karaoke for the girl who went away, a very intriguing, very young lady who knocked back Jack Daniels shots even though I suspected she was underage. She flattered me with her attention for a while then disappeared. A free spirit, she went planting trees up north and then was on a farm in the States for a while according to her facebook posts, then in South America somewhere I think. Eventually she closed her facebook account and somehow cut off all other internet sources of information. I can never forget her though and this song is my only way of saying how much I miss her: Let me tell you about the way she looked, the way she acted , the colour of her hair ..... but shes not there!.
