I slightly renamed my page and changed the URL :O Earth shattering news, I know. Writing about music might be inherently dumb most of the time but I post weird and unique stuff with an always-intended tone of reverence for some of the most essential artistic expression yet produced by our species. 16 TB (you all think its the herb is why I never have any money.... its just as much the lifelong record store addiction + Amazon scenario) and fully 7+ TB or so of it is unreleased, archival concerts and so forth -- many remastered by me and people I know who dedicate a ton of their free time to making a lot of these original radio station pre-FM reels and soundboard/audience matrixes sound eons better than a lot of official releases of live albums, for example. It is a pretty big nest for what its worth and it took me a decade plus to feather this lossless audio sub-galaxy. So please visit, comment, and sample for the week each post links live to its Easter Egg. Someday I wanna have all the stuff that will never, ever see the light of day up in whatever version of the cloud is in use then, as a shared archive... hopefully in a foundation form where a subscription/donation can be made to find its way to the artists or their surviving families where such a thing is still possible. Ill put up some of these nutty and rarity-inflected compilations I like to F around with as well, many containing ridiculous and undetectably reassembled, uniquely edited versions of tracks that exist in that configuration in no other place, just to whet the appetite for people to go out or online and purchase -- where the profits go to the artist-prophets and not the 5 megadegashmega corporatoons (not a typo) that currently seem to own the recorded-music universe and everything in it -- 16 copies of every single record ever made by the artist in question. Im really pretty sparkly with Sound Forge and Vegas software when it comes to curtailing a long & jammy, borderline aimless 11 minute prog cut into a sort of coherent single edit anyway. How cool does THAT skill look on a résumé? Please come visit cuz I miss bloggy writing with the goofy cascading photo-monograph style I used to employ when I did it for who I did it for (Donald Marquez shoutout), etc. etc. Thx for taking the time :)
