I smashed my phone (accidentally) so I am sorry some of you are hearing this on fb rather than through a phone call. However because of the massive support I have received I know people are waiting to hear & are worried. So the good news first- Tooties is definitely benign & my life is not in imminent danger- phew! I can exercise a bit to keep myself sane! Now the bad news- I cannot speed anything up. The operation would cost £100,000 (too many cakes to bake!) & no private hospital would take it. With pre-lim checks etc I will probably have the operation Oct/Nov. I will be in intensive care for a month. I will need 6-12months off work. Basically he told me to wipe a year out of my life! Its too much to take in really (for all of us), but I trust my surgeon & feel in safe hands. Im just so grateful to Tim, my family & my friends for making this situation bearable. In some ways Im a lucky girl & will live to race another race in 2016! Much love xx
