I sold my Nissan Spec-V on Thursday night to a guy, supposedly for his 17 year old son that loves to work on cars. I gave him a screaming deal, way less than I wanted for it because it was for his kid and it had some issues that needed work. The body and interior was excellent, 6 speed, full leather, sun roof, new lo-pro rubber, new rack and pinion, starter, alternator, power steering pump, 55k miles on a dealer installed crate engine. However, my mechanic thought the engine was blown, something that is common for these particular 2.5L engines. It was blowing massive amounts of grey smoke and he ruled out valve rings and head gasket. I trust my mechanic completely and was willing to put money into it before I sold it but he said not to, that he really felt it was bad. So I took a huge hit and sold it with FULL discolsure, I didnt want to screw over anyone. And now he has relisted it already for $2K more than I sold it for. I know he couldnt have fixed it that quick and Im sure hes scamming someone, that someone is going to get screwed. I am angry that I was taken advantage of and upset for whomever may buy it. Some people, I swear.....
