I sold some eggs to a new customer today, a Facebook friend that went to my high school actually. Apparently her child, like myself, is allergic to penicillin and had gotten some eggs from the store that apparently had trace amounts of penicillin in the eggs which caused an immediate allergic reaction. Its a shame that many of these animals, cows, chickens, pigs, etc, get pumped with antibiotics, hormones and steroids and usually dont even see the sun in their lifetime.. And are often mistreated. Anyways Im glad Im able to provide some fresh big brown eggs to folks who make conscious decisions about what they eat !
