I sometimes sit and observe things just sipping coffee and watching. Well about two weeks ago we found out that the superstructure of our deck was totally rotted away. No repair possible. So we demolished the old one and are in the process of finishing the new one. While watching the workers I noticed these guys drop nails, bend screws, pull old nails, and a lot of them end up under the deck. My thought what a wonderful place to bury a gun if need be all those nails screws etc would drive a metal detector nuts. Ground radar hey no problem, my old metal wheelbarrow. snow shovels properly placed would eliminate that threat. Just a thought
