I spent a half hour or so tonight literally lying on my driveway staring up at the night sky. Id been out of town for 10 days doing the Seattle 3-Day and then working in Kansas City, and was tired, so youd have thought that Id have come home from the airport and just crashed into bed as soon as I could. But the fact that I didnt should tell you how beautiful a night it was. I saw four nice meteors streak overhead in that half hour ... when I came in and checked, though, there was no major meteor shower happening, so I guess I was just lucky.
