I spent this past weekend in rural Alabama helping some friends fix a dock on their lake. I was missing a snow storm in Great Smoky Mountains National Park to be here, so I was happy to see this fog bank rising off the lake the only night I got the camera out. The setting moon gives off amazingly warm light, just like the setting sun, but its harder to see with the naked eye. A camera sensor does a great job of capturing that color, though! Its also nice to get the camera out in a location where no other tripods have ever been set up (to my knowledge). Definitely the most assured way of getting something unique!
