I spent this weekend on edge waiting for text messages from one of our Administrators, who has become a friend through this battle. Her son has repeatedly been sent to his abusers home despite over a dozen reports with Child Protective Services-- they are failing this little boy...and his mother. As much as I was on edge waiting for updates, I cant imagine the heartbreak that this mother was feeling as she memorized her sons every feature before he went to his fathers home....she didnt know if she would ever see her son again. Thankfully, he is home and safe tonight but it was another reminder for me about how screwed up this system is. Tina
