I spent two hours this morning with a new client... A lovely old chap living on his own coz his wifes in a residential home... He had tears in his eyes when he was telling me how he goes to see her everyday n spends the afternoon with her... He told me how her face lights up when he plays music to her and her feet tap away but sadly she cant stand up to dance anymore....He talked of how much his heart breaks to leave her n how he hates the silence of his home after his visit..there was no bitterness in his voice just sadness... He said hed like to take her out on his birthday but hes been told hes not safe to do so.... I told him that Id be happy to accompany them if the home allow it....his face was an absolute picture n he was so grateful.... You cant put a price on that... There for the grace of God go I... Xx
