I spoke a prophecy over my life less than a year ago that I was #next...yes, I was talking about marriage. Even changed my status to #engaged because I wanted to see that vision. But what Ive realized is that #next is only an approximate term used in our finite thinking. Many friends have married since then...so was I not next? No...Im still next. Gods timing is not ours. I told myself today that my sister Dena was gone too soon...no she wasnt. God knew exactly what God was doing, from conception to death. This is what i know...for certain, better than my own name: that the Creator, the only wise God of the universe, makes no mistakes. God is perfect and Gods love is perfect and covers all-everything and everybody. So tell someone youre next, its now, straightway, right now---wait for it, wait for it..but whats yours is yours in the appointed time. Be steadfast, immovable...love like its your last day because tomorrow is not promised. I witnessed something today I wouldnt trade for a 10 carot diamond ring---my chattanooga family, most of us, singing in the choir today. My soul was satisfied and I felt the presence of my sister who passed last year say, yes, yes-- this is what I was trying to tell yal. The takeaways---Dont confuse mans maybe with Gods yes. Make the radical decision to reach out and mend the brokenness in your family. And lastly, accept Gods timing over your own and everyone elses. Gods next could be next year or next Tuesday...you just be ready.
