I stopped by the freedom market, the one built by the U.S.A. I - TopicsExpress

I stopped by the freedom market, the one built by the U.S.A. I wanted to see what was in there, how many would come today. As I walked up to the big front door shaped like an eagles bust, I saw a sign painted red, white, and blue with the words, In God we trust. I went inside. I was shocked to see there was almost no one there. There were a hundred aisles or more, but the shelves were nearly bare. I saw an older soldier and asked him, Where is the milk, bread, and meat? He said, The goods you get in this store, Son, are not the kind you eat. He could see the puzzled look I had and told me to follow him. At first, my tour was exciting; near the end, my thoughts were grim. The first aisle was marked independence, the second sovereignty, Next democracy, rights, and happiness, then freedom, and liberty. The last isles were marked patriotism, loyalty, allegiance, and pride, Including duty, God, honor, and country. I asked why these aisles were so full and the first one were almost empty. He said, Nobody wants whats on those shelves. When they stop to shop in this store, they fill their carts from the first aisles then go out to protest the war. Most shoppers here are false patriots; the only goods they take are free. They use their book of freedom stamps paid for by folks like you and me. The goods on the last aisles are old fashioned; they say the price is too high Cause those who buy at these shelves sometimes have to die!
