I strongly dislike Wal-mart. Really. Knowing their odd policies towards their employees and made-up rules of convenience, they are just way out there. Just over-heard a cashier refusing to sell the couple in front of me a six pack of beer because one (1) of them didnt have an ID. They were CLEARLY over legal age, probably safe to say in their early 30s. They were from Greenville MS and the girl told the cashier she didnt even bring her purse to the store and didnt drink beer. The guy, paying for all the groceries, was so redfaced, but remained calm, and sweet as he could be. But it INFURIATED ME...the beer was HIS, he had a valid ID, He was paying and the cashier was an idiot. So, when I stepped up to buy my coffee of convenience, I said, give me that six pack of beer you just put under the counter. I want it. I yelled at the couple to wait by the door for me. I gave it to them, and we ALL agreed, we wont be back. I swear. You cant fix stupid. The cashier said its Wal-marts policy to not sell beer to any two people together if one doesnt have an ID. Ridiculous policy skewing common sense.
