I swear every winter in Minnesota I tell myself this is the last - TopicsExpress

I swear every winter in Minnesota I tell myself this is the last one and I mean it. Want to feel sand between my toes. The feel of the warm sun beating down on my body. Swimming in the ocean. The evergreen trees. The mountains with snow on the tops of them. Yes there are four seasons in Minnesota where I live makes me feel during the winter and the snow makes feel I live in a cabin. A mountain feeling looking out at my small lake frozen over dreaming of spring and fishing for trout. Spring comes and it is the start of the second season. When I hear the sounds of the Canadian Geese flying in making their loud honking sound I start to feel better knowing it is spring. Time to work outside cleaning up the yard. Wanting to plant flowers and landscape the surroundings. But cant do that because I cant plant rhododendrons one of the most beautiful plants with flowers looking like they were hand painted. My property is beautiful. A long curving driveway that has pine trees that act as a protector to the natural plants underneath them. When cutting the grass with a walk behind mower instead of my riding one gives me the feeling of accomplishment. Takes 8 to 12 hours the first time. Then it only takes 4 hours. With all the natural brush and Mother Natures beauty I get the yard looking like a park setting. Once again it looks like a painter painting a wonderful Mother Nature landscape. Then comes the 3rd season summer which you get to go out and play fish and camping but it goes by to fast and the 4th season comes fall. It is another painters landscape. Then that damn winter comes and it is like a nightmare getting started that last twice as long as any of the four seasons. Only 143 days until summer ha ha.
