I take a momentary pause from the endeavor of transferring quotes from the inked pages of my textbook to the pixelated screen of my computer. I only ascended to the second floor of the library so there are muffled conversations scattered around, but still less than that of the Earth beneath me (for it is common knowledge here that the further you trek up into the libraries the more all-consuming the silence becomes). I drown out these noises with the rhythmic thump of Pretty Lights Pandora station while I am working. But I utilize this intermission to reflect upon my handiwork. This seemingly tedious task has become almost enjoyable to me. A year ago I would have abhorred such a mindless mission! But a year ago I was pursuing engineering or business and not the wonderful world of Theatre which I have decided to engulf myself in. For I have realized, you may look down upon or pity me for my choices, but I would rather struggle in life for my happiness than be safe and secure in my misery.
