It wasnt a planned conference) and she mentioned that she didnt think kindergarten was working out for her, and asked what I thought of her moving to first grade. I like the idea, because she only missed the kindergarten deadline by three weeks. Shes been six for a month already. But that will take her from being one of the oldest in her class to one of the youngest. Im not worried academically. Shes already reading well beyond the kindergarten level. Has anyone got experience in a child skipping to first grade? I would appreciate advice/suggestions
