I tell you, today was a real exercise in patience and perseverance. First, I mislaid both sets of car keys and there I was looking in every sensible place, at least twice, at six twenty in the morning and in a number of not very sensible places. Jo finally found them on the table outside the Frog House where I left them yesterday when I went on the roof to clean mountains of rotting leaves, after having loaded the car for the market. I was half an hour late starting and drove through mist and rain to get to the Channon market and was the last casual to check in. Nevertheless I got a great spot- the place where someone I knew used to do massages but died recently. Tiny bits of his bones were underfoot. When I went to get the car to drive to the spot to unload, the starter motor had died! People at the market generously helped me kick start it. I was setting up as customers were arriving. I could so easily have given up on at least two occasions but Im so glad I didnt. It was a great day, far better than I could have hoped for. Over fifty more acres of rainforest saved. I met some lovely friends and a number of repeat customers. The sun shone on us after all.
