I think IGAD were wrong to some extend......................The protocol on agreed principles on transitional arrangements towards resolution of the crisis in South Sudan..: Power sharing ....article (3) and (6)..... 1-Why is it necessary that the Prime Minister who is suppose according to the document to be nominated by the SPLM-IO to be acceptable to the President, when in reality we all know that the whole opposition members are not acceptable to the president (according to SPLM-Juba, because they call them rebels) nor does the president acceptable to the rebels (because they call him dictator or killer president). 2-Were they expecting them to nominate someone outside the SPLM-IO, or does the IGAD have a special selection criteria for who is suppose to be acceptable to the President ?? 3-Whats the point of restricting the prime minister from running in the coming elections and how is he/she not eligible , knowing that according to the Constitution of South Sudan. Right to Participation and Voting article 26. (1) Every citizen shall have the right to take part in any level of government directly or through freely chosen representative, and shall have the right to nominate himself or herself or be nominated for a public post or office in accordance with this Constitution and the law. (2) Every citizen shall have the right to vote or be elected in accordance with this Constitution and the law. 4-Were the IGAD expecting the person to be nominated to that post to be a foreigner or they didnt know what the constitution of the Republic of South Sudan says about eligibility for nomination and voting in elections or are they trying to make a violation to our constitution ??? 5- IGAD should have known that its not about pressuring the parties to sign but about coming up with a logical suggestions that could be accepted by all so that they dont leave rooms for loopholes or excuses from both parties which may hinder or deter the process of peace in south Sudan......Unless they are up to something else not peace. 6-IGAD should revisit these documents and come up with something else more favorable by both parties to avoid further Incongruities which may take them back to clashes and prolong the war that had and is still costing us everything almost in every aspect of life. 7-There is a saying by the great Gautama Buddha that Peace comes from within.Do not seek it without Peace in South Sudan should come through political will not to be imposed. 8-But our politicians seems to have lost leadership qualities and norms.it is obvious because they are after their self-interests not for public interest. Their hearts became so solid, they dont give a damn for the millions who died and are still dying; Their minds are blocked, they think only about themselves , they have no idea what hardship they put the poor people of South Sudan through. They made our peoples lives look so miserable throughout the world, they ripped them off their joy and happiness and put them to adversities. 9-Nevertheless, Where theres a will theres a way , the will of the people who voted for 97+% in the process to get their independent nation is stronger than anything or anyone and shall always be there... 10- God Bless South Sudan and change the hearts of its enemies, those within or outside.
