I think Im starting to realize a sad tendency among a lot of people. Maybe you first have to realize how much this current socio-economic system doesnt work, in order to be open to the possibility that looking for a new system might be necessary and reasonable. If you personally still have a roof over your head, food in the freezer and a monthly income you are more apt to perceive things as being relatively OK and you might trick yourself into thinking that things will remain this way going forward. All the while you are ignoring the starving and homeless people on this planet who arent as fortunate as you are at the moment. You could actually join the poor, hungry, deprived homeless people soon enough, just remember that! Maybe that terrifying realization can trigger motivation for actual change? Tick tack tick tack.. The chips are falling in society, we better realize it sooner rather than later.
