I think about my friend Amy a lot who I grew up with in sobriety ,I can hear her laughing as I sat next to her at the big round table at the step house ,we had so much fun going to different aa events and learning how to have fun without drinking,it seemed like every time I was with her,we would laugh until our stomachs hurt,she was probably my 1st real true friend when I 1st got sober,she also had no problem telling me like it was if she thought I was screwing up:-) she died at the young age of 50 a few years ago,I got to be her neighbor for a year before she left us,on thanksgiving that year she came to our house and as we were sitting there talking before dinner,she said I was going to bring a cheese ball but I ate it last night,LOL once again we laughed hard:-)not sure why I was thinking about her tonight,maybe I just needed a good laugh and a great memory from a great friend:-)
