I think anyone who even knew Amy slightly will recognize just how much this photo from the Brazil misadventure captures some essential truth of her (nothing to do with any skill by me as the photographer - I just pointed and clicked)... Her looking out...for something...for some truth...some answer...some transcendence...yearning and reaching and striving...and also seeing the beauty and the mystery... Emily Bradley, Will Huston, Charles Pinion, William Dailey, Richard Jennings, Isis Aquarian, Sophie Francoise Duriez, Jeff Scott, Liz Vaughan, Don Cushman, Irene Miracle, F.x. Feeney, Adam Parfrey, Ann Magnuson, John Bertram, Darwin Green God how I miss her. My first awareness every morning and my last reflection every night, is her absence. I hate to sound like some bullshit poetic narration in a Terry Malick film but thats exactly how I feel. All perceptions of my reality are filtered through the severe and specific prism of Her Absence.
