I think canabis has gone beyond the original intention of why it was created by nature as an analgesic, stress reliever and mild social pleasure. In the sixties I used it a lot particularly around the Flower Power period of 1967; it was a lovely time and atmosphere enhanced by the psychodelic music of the time. It was a very sociable drug and has great medical benefits particularly for conditions such as MS. It isnt toxic and therefore can be used as an ingredient in things like cakes with comical effect sometimes. Nature provided this plant and it could be legalised and tax through the revenue system because those who buy it are ripped ofv by dealers big time. There is no stigma to using the drug and everyone from working class up to the aristocracy and police officers are users. The down side is also clear, look at the Jeremy Kyle show and see how the abuse of the weed results in lack of ambition, work phobia, laziness, marriage splits and more seriously in frequent use, cancer of the throat. Guess it you ate too many baked beans they would kill you……….or those sitting near you.
