I think it is naive and simplistic to blame President Uhuru for the current state of affairs in matters security. He simply inherited a totally corrupt Police force that is made up of thousands of thugs; yet in the current constitution, even a very ineffective Inspector General like the current one- David Kimaiyo- cannot transfer a Police Constable before being taken to court. In other words, Kenyans voted for a silly constitution that does not give President Uhuru Kenyatta the free hand to deal with Insecurity. The constitution created many commissions headed by dubious characters from the Civil Society. So before you blame the President- check your head (if you voted Yes in 2010). Second, the radicalization of the Youth took place mainly between 2005 and 2013. The Police Commanders at the Coast were busy protecting drug dealers, and making tens of millions of shillings- and they TOTALLY Forgot their core duty- Utumishi kwa Wote. Tackling youth that have been radicalized for nearly ten years is not a task that can be done in ten months, especially if the youth have a political agenda of destabilizing you, If you have any doubts- take time to listen to this two teachings by Aboud Rogo. Many of the sites have been brought down, but the tapes are readily available. I insist that you should take time to listen to what is REALLY taught inside those Mosques. Take time to listen to the hatred being planted in young minds: yet Muslim Leaders like Senator Hassan Omar and Co. have NEVER asked for the youth to stop attending the teachings. In this teaching, Rogo explains why Christians should be PUSHED out of Mombasa. He spends nearly 1 hour 30 min teaching why Christians should be killed, and why Churches should not be built at the Coast. If you do not have the time- jump to 17.00 minutes - 20.00 minutes, and listen to the pure hatred against Christians and Churches. Teaching Two: Title Hukmu ya Kuishi Katika Miji ya Kafiri In this teaching- Muslim Youth are taught NEVER to respect State Officers, and do their best to Rebel and Kill State Officers like Policemen and Army Officers. Now these are the teachings that are very very very popular among Muslims- to the extent that if the Police try to arrest those teaching these messages, and the intoxicated youth: ALL the Muslim Leaders come out guns blazing. Take time to listen to what is being taught in Mosques mainly in Mombasa and Nairobis Majengo and Kayole Areas.
