I think its hilarious when people tell others how to look. Youd look better without the lip ring. You looked better with blonde hair. You look better when you wear lipstick. And so on. Im lucky that Im not some super sensitive insecure woman because people dont know how much something small like that can hurt someone or give someone a complex when they hear it if they ARE insecure. I do what I want with my appearance and I dont care how anyone else feels about it, honestly. I used to have days though (depending on what I was going through), where as confident as I was, if somebody told me You look better blonde, I would go around for the next week feeling like shit and feeling like everyone was laughing at me and thinking how gross I was because I had dark hair. I dont walk around to people I know and go wow, even though you just dyed your hair this color, you look SO much better before you did it. As long as they dont look like a complete and utter asshole, I dont offer any advice to my friends looks unless they ask for my opinion on it. Do people really expect people not to change their look? I enjoy switching things up. Some days I feel like no makeup, other days I feel like being a drag queen. Some months I feel like dark hair and blending in, other times I feel like bright ass annoying hair. I dont want to wake up and put on the same face and do the same hairstyle every single day for my entire life. Like I said - thank goodness that Im secure and I do what I do for MYSELF and no one else. Just be careful next time you think about telling someone how to correct their appearance. You never know what they could be going through or what they think of themselves or how insecure they are and what influence you could have on them. Thats all...
