I think that I am numb with grief right now. My brain has shut down and refuses to process anymore, so I am just going to put this down and then go to bed. One of my favorite actors, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, has dropped into the Great Void, courtesy of heroin. I am not surprised, (he really nailed Lester Bangs in Almost Famous, another casualty of the poppy) but very, very sad. His premature death will almost certainly make him a legend, but certainly not to the degree that he would have been had he lived. I dont even want to consider what his potential would have been. It is just too painful to do that right now. Goodnight, Phillip. RIP.
