I think the HUGE point people are missing here is that...these SNBBR dogs were already being saved despite Chars abandonment of them months ago. We unofficially took custody and responsibility of them, far before Elizabeth and ARP came along. But the HUGE point is this...what exactly was Char and Elizabeth saving the last 2 Dewey dogs from??? They were heading over to the NSPCAs no-kill side that very day, due to non-payment by Char Baroni. They werent in any danger. If Char had just allowed them to go there, there would have been the *transparency and *accountability we all desired for them. The same people that have been handling Gameboy and Kramer for years, would have still been able to continue visiting them and working with them and enriching their lives until the day they might get a home. The NSPCA were going to have all the necessary and truthful information about the 2 dogs, in order to not set them up for failure. Instead, you have Char Baroni who has done absolutely nothing for HER dogs in the last 5 months, in the 11th hour before their transfer to our community No-Kill, whisking them away with no ones knowledge, determined to hide them...with the assistance, very apparently, of Elizabeth Davis Rubin. So what exactly do these cheerleaders think they were *Saving Gameboy and Kramer from??? * Saving them from a No-Kill organization? * Saving them from the people whove known them not hours, but YEARS...who wanted to continue to enrich their lives until permanent homes or at least fosters were found? Are people REALLY naive enough to think that Char was saving them??? And not what this really was, which was a final F*CK YOU from Char to all the people whove stepped up ALL this time for the abandoned SNBBR dogs, by trying to whisk them away in secrecy from the people who have, all this time, given a damn about them?? If Elizabeth Davis Rubin wants whats best for those dogs, (and I believe she does, but was just completely duped by the likes of Char Baroni, who wasnt even decent enough to be forthcoming about the dogs histories to Elizabeth) its for them to be in an experienced foster home. Im able to deliver that to them. And Im prepared to take on all liability that comes along with that. If she truly has their best interest, she should release them and be done with this secrecy nonsense, so those of us who have been transparent and accountable all along, can CONTINUE to assist these dogs. I dont think thats asking too much.
