I think the NFL should stop playing the police. NFL should protect football, not victoms...fine players for actions unbecoming a NFL player...but in all situations do nothing to slow or stop the game...If their actions off the field require police involvement then so be it....but stop allowing the public to dictate what the NFL should do to be pc.. can u image what would happen if burger king or braums were to stop letting an employee flip burgers but still had to pay them for not working until a court could decide if the employee was even guilty of the criminal charge...we would all be doing a lot mor cooking at home...let me tell you...lol Im not saying that I think they should not be punished. ..but let the court do their job....let the NFL protect the game...not investigate criminal activity not on the field. .. I think that their personal actions in these cases are terrible. ...but we dont even know, in the case of peterson, if all the damage was done by him or someone else after he had spanked caused more damage to make him look bad...we dont know...let the police and the courts do their jobs... And whats to keep a football team from hiring a female to bring a false allegation of rape against an a different teams star...just to remove the player from a game against themselves. This has got to stop before it goes to far. Sorry so long.
