I think the Post Office must have a corporate death wish in my city - I walked up to the shopping centre to post some xmas parcels - double take - vacant shop front - weve moved. Bear in mind this is by far the busiest business period for them. Off to another shopping mall - located - now the challenge of seeing whether its actually possible to post these parcels? Not without lying because the pleasant counter service person asks me whats inside - Ive never been asked this before for parcels being posted within the UK. I responded - theyre presents and Ive no idea coz Im posting them on behalf of my partner.
