I think the eagles shouldve got an insurance policy behind Foles. If you think hes even getting close to the numbers he had last year your highly mistaken. Foles flaws aside the receiving Corp is considerably weaker. The loss of desean is huge he opened the top of the defense and made secondaries play more honestly because of his speed. He opened up all of those wide open passing lanes foles threw through. Teams will b able to play the run more which means foles will have to pass more on running downs which is a weakness for all power throwers because they have a hard time throwing through tight windows. Secondly theres what made the offense so successful, its an extremely simple offense which means NFL teams will catch up with it immediately with tape and time in the offseason, if Foles doesnt improve his IQ as a passer which isnt extremely high hell do bad especially since hell have to hold the ball longer to throw through those small windows which means pressure, Foles isnt the lightest on his feet and doesnt avoid pressure well. Then theres foles himself. Foles made his receivers have to work way to hard to get receptions, alot of jump balls, alot of great catches, all with the exception of desean who was generally open most of the time but evenhe had to make some great catches. Foles is streaky with his accuracy and unless he takes huge strides forward this offseason eagles fans will be highly disappointed this season.
