I think the reason I like computers and technology so much more than people is that they dont disappoint me nearly as much as actual people do. I can build, manipulate and fix anything electronic... But I cant make people work harder by installing faster components and cleaning up their operating system. I cant back them up knowing full well they will catastrophically fail me at the worst possible moment. I cant root/jailbreak people so I can better understand them and help them become the most efficient, optimized version of themselves. So I dont rely on people. Maybe you havent been disappointed so heniously by human beings, maybe you arent smart enough to stop yourself from repeatedly making the same mistake, or maybe you have an intrinsic biological trust and faith in humanity... But that is a dangerous perspective. At the end of the day, no one will look out for you more than you will look out for you.
