I think there is a conspiracy from within the higher echelons of the HK Police force and from the HKG bench and bar to deliberately play softly-softly and pedal slow on this mob in the streets. Many of these civil servants were former British colonial servants. As are some of the British expat judges, barristers and lawyers in the HKG bench and bar..... this callous indifference in enforcing the law on civil disturbance, unlawful assembly, disorderly conduct, vandalism, impeding public streets, assaultive behavior in the streets.... all these are criminal behavior which, even in good ole U.S.A., would have elicit arrests, prosecution, criminal sanctions. HKG jails should have been full by now. Why arent the laws being enforced now? This is a mockery of Hong Kongs Rule of Law! What rule of Law? It is street Mobocracy. Not Democracy.!!!!*#!*$+!!!!
