I think this is going to be an expensive winter, Jamie had the engine in her jeep grand Cherokee let go so its in the shop waiting in line for its turn, a search didnt turn up any viable used engines, it appears they are all gold plated, even high mileage engines are in the 1500 range and then those are all on the east coast or west coast and another 500 for shipping and Id have to eat the core charge because when her engine lunched it put a rod thru the block, so a factory reman has been ordered, full long block with a 3 year warranty so thats going to go in, then we get to do it all over again with Danielles jeep, same story. Also today I was feeling left out and kinda abused so I bought myself a new Kia Sportage, so far its a lot of fun, no shortage of power and just a small little fun SUV, good fuel mileage and just enough power to get myself in trouble with, not used to such a short vehicle tho, with the sound system its a little like being inside a speaker cabinet but I cant hear anyway, I just wanted something fun to drive, this will be my fourth mid life crisis, each one gets a little better, I waiting for the one that involves the red convertible and the tall blonde.
