I think your whole life shows in your face and you should be proud of that. - Lauren Bacall On this early Wednesday Afternoon I am grateful that I was too busy enjoying life and off the internet for a few days. I am grateful for my nephews visit with us this week. Great to get to know him better. I am grateful for Veal Schnitzel topped with lemon and parsley served with spätzle and red cabbage. I am grateful for my son lending us a HUGE smoker to try out for a week. Yum.... I am grateful for my boss who welcomed our new receptionist with a huge balloon bouquet and flowers on her first day. What a great place to work. I am hopeful that the passing of Robin Williams will open the doors about the effects of depression and allow the survivors of suicide to talk openly about the pain they are going through without any embarrassment. Last but not least I am grateful for the joy that Lauren Bacall has given me throughout my life. I am sure Bogie has waited long enough to be reunited with her. RIP Lauren Bacall.
