I thought I would write a poem for Victoria’s birthday. Sorry - TopicsExpress

I thought I would write a poem for Victoria’s birthday. Sorry that I didn’t get round to posting it up yesterday. Hoping that this is alright. When rays of sunshine peer through the deepest and darkest clouds, They’re like children’s laughter, a sound that could make any parent proud, Sixteen rays of sunshine appear even on the darkest days, Along with them come the memories with so much to say. Up in Heaven you dance with your friends, you laugh and you smile, Memories of you remain and will forever travel many a mile, The miles will not wither; the miles will not reduce, Their glory of you and the smiles that they produce. The angels surround you as you dance with your fifteen other friends, All laughing and smiling as all children should be, that you cannot pretend, Though people are still hurting; different to overcome, They still remember you with a smile, each memory whispering gently like a distant beating drum. The stars came out, they danced and they sung, With amazement, a wonder begun, For they began to come together, dimming slightly they looked the same, Because on your birthday, the stars slowly spelled out your name. Happy birthday Victoria x x
