Part 2B: We Are Yahweh’s Image and Likeness In the World We Live. Scripture Reading: Micah 5:2 “You, Bethlehem Ephrathah, are too small to be included among Judah’s cities. Yet, from you Israel’s future ruler will come from me. His origins are from the distant past, from Eternity Past.” Isaiah 9:6-7 “A child will be born for us. A son will be given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. He will be named: Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty El, Father of Eternity, (and the) Prince of Peace. His government and peace will have unlimited growth and will have no end. He will establish David’s throne and kingdom. He will uphold it with Justice and Righteousness now and forever. Yahweh of angelic armies is determined to do this!” Introduction Headline: What prophecies ushered in Messiah’s Birth, and what are the Odds that they were actually fulfilled in Yeshua, our Messiah? Introduction Text: In these Last Days, we were promised according to the Prophetic Word of Elohim that apostasy, which is a turning away from the true faith in Messiah, would pervade His Fellowships. There is an assault on Messiah’s true congregations that believe in His Deity and the Veracity of Elohim’s Written Word, that defies the imagination of those who sought its destruction in the past. Even many large corporations are refusing to have the name “Christ” in their holiday literature, parties, and advertising, because of what Yeshua’s Title means and professes to be: Divine. Unique among all books ever written, Elohim’s Written Word, which we call the Holy Bible, prophesies events in detail, many years, and at times centuries, accurately long before they occur. The Old Covenant writings, called the Tanakh, contains 500 prophesies surrounding Messiah’s birth, life, death, and resurrection, of which 300 were fulfilled at Messiah Yeshua’s first appearing. Around 2500 prophecies have been voiced throughout Elohim’s Written Word: around 2000 have been fulfilled to the letter with no errors. 153 have been fulfilled since Messiah rose into Heaven. The remaining 47 are seeing their fulfillment in these last days in humanity’s present and future, and which are leading to the Ingathering of Messiah’s Rapture Ready Bride, and His Return. For Yeshua to truly be the Messiah described in the Old Covenant, He would have to fulfill every Messianic prophecy. There are 365 Old Covenant prophesies that describe Messiah’s Arrival. Since the probability for any one of these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance averages less than one in ten, figured very conservatively, 365 alone being fulfilled are inestimable. If we take all 365 prophecies and condense them to 8 (remember 8 is the number of renewal) prophetic events surrounding Messiah’s Birth being fulfilled by one person, odds are astounding. Look at the place, timing, and manner of Messiah’s birth, along with His betrayal, manner of death, how people reacted to Him at His crucifixion, His pierced side, and His burial, we see great odds. Most of these prophecies are independent one of another: the odds for these 8 prophetic events having been fulfilled by chance is astoundingly less than one in 102,000,000,000,000 (trillion)! The most important event prophesied in Elohim’s Word is Messiah’s Virgin Birth, to redeem fallen humanity back to Himself, and establish Elohim’s Eternal Kingdom and Authority back on earth. Satan’s purpose has always been to obscure, and falsify the simplicity of the cross in its application to our sin problem: the first task was to deceive humanity into believing Messiah isn’t Divine. Yahweh’s Son’s substitutional death on the cross is the heart of the Good News Message and Truth revealed in Elohim’s Word. Yeshua obediently took our place ,and suffered our penalty for sin.
