I took Gilly to the vet to get spayed. I felt bad leaving her there, but she happily ran off into the back with the nice lady, and never looked back. She is always looking for her next Big Adventure... The good news is that since I actually had to get my butt out of bed at the heathen hour of 7 AM (also known as oh-dark-hundred), I was able to have breakfast at The Buttermilk Cafe. Yay! They are one of the few restaurants serving broken yolk sandwiches, and REAL grits. Coffees pretty good, too, and the staff is always friendly and efficient. Its a really good Comfort Food kinda place. I thought about trying the breakfast strata, but I hate to mess with Perfection... It almost makes it worth getting out of bed in the morning... 😉
