I took a walk in the woods today (ok. I was strongly encouraged to take a walk in the woods today) I didnt want to do it, I was not happy about it. I took my camera along as a consolation. The walk in was uneventful and I became even grumpier because I thought I wasnt even finding anything interesting to capture. I stood quietly waiting for my family to catch up at one point. While I stood there, I noticed an unusual dragonfly.... then a caterpillar... then some beautiful ferns. All of these shots were taken within 10 feet of each other. Stop and smell the roses (or thistle) is my lesson for today.
