I took me a year to collect all the moon shots in this film. Not because I worked on it part time. Moon chasing is a full time job. You have to know where the moon will rise on the day you are going to shoot. You have to know exactly where you need to stand to get the shot you have in mind and of course you need to know what lens you will be using. The day arrives, you are setting up the gear and some clouds roll in. Thats the end of it. This shot cannot be taken from the same spot the next day because the moon never rises exactly at the same point or at the same hour. And the next day may be raining or too much wind. So you wait another month and when the moon is exactly where you want it, clouds again, so you re-schedule and this can go on and on and on. Patience is the number one ingredient and TIME, you need lots of time to do this kind of work. https://vimeo/69354402 — in Aldeanueva de Ebro.
