I took the first photo after Kelsey first competed (1st in Figure Short at Atlantics) in 2009. My camera was easily ten years old, it was inside our nylon garage (that winter during a storm it blew apart at one point launching Kels several feet into the air as she was too stubborn to let go). This photo shows how gorgeous she is, our love of motorbikes, her passion for fitness and that face shows all you need to know about her kind, genuine personality. What many dont know is I was involved in a bad motorcycle accident a couple years earlier (2nd photo) which robbed me of use of my arm (since repaired through surgery to point I can at least play sports) and left me with several burns, scars, and weight gain (will hold off on those but third pic gives idea). This amazing angel of a woman stuck by me through it all as a good friend and I knew if she could care for me at my worst shed be there through anything so I asked her shortly afterwards if we could go on a date. I love this woman, always and forever.
