I tried to share a post our Son Jayse Simpson posted tonight, but due to his age and privacy settings, it wouldnt share. Instead, I have copied the words from post and pasted here so you may read for yourself his heartfelt words that truly describe how our family feels about the difference, that seems like a small deed to some, but truly makes in the lives of others, Before I post, let me say, I am so incredibly proud of our Son for the incredible young man that he has become despite any obstacle that has been placed before him. I am proud to be Jayse Simpsons Mom. ----- Pasted from a post from Jayse tonight: I’d like to thank the FSU football team for taking time out of their busy schedules to take time up with me. Thank you Mr. Mincy for putting this together, thank you Mr. Amos Benjamin and Mr. Vic Viloria for the amazing day on Saturday. Thank you Jameis Winston, Bobo Wilson, Cameron Erving, Casen Beatty, Josue Matias, Roberto Aguayo, Red Lightning, and the whole FSU team and coaching staff for the amazing experience. Thank you Mr. Jimbo and Mrs. Candi Fisher for your generosity and allowing me to come into the facilities on such an important day and taking time to spend with me. And let’s not forget, our amazing tour guide Daphne Williams-Martin who took us everywhere and hooked us up with the best of everything. Thank you Mr. Charlie Ward for meeting with me and taking up time with my family. A shout out to Mr. Guy Moore of Garnet & Gold and Woody Pelt Woody (the voice of Doak) for being so awesome. This is truly a special group of people who care about more than just football, but about effecting the lives around them. I had the greatest time and am so grateful for everything they did for us. From this I learned: To be a Seminole Warrior you must be Strong, Youthful and Bold. A Seminole Warrior has Attitude: Academics, Toughness, Effort, Discipline, Intensity, Unity, Pride and NOLES to WIN you must be UNCONQUERED and You must show your FSU Pride on and off of the field.
