I truly believe that freedom is more than having the ability to do what you want when you want to. Freedom is being able to weather a storm and not be blown away by it. Freedom is having the ability to choose peace when everything is haywire. You can be physically free and emotionally imprisoned. Identity, until you understand that a degree, an experience, an astrology sign, your position in life, your financial condition, your duty in the church, your home or your family have nothing to do with who you are, you will never get to know who you are. Those roles can be snatched from you. Who you are outside of them is who you truly are. I have come to find that when there is no job to fulfill you will find that the true you is waiting to be developed, groomed and matured without mans hands. God will cut off everything that you seek to validate and label you so that you can blossom into the beautiful creature that He designed you to be. With every loss, there truly is gain if your sight is on the SOURCE and not the substance. My thoughts for today.
