I truly enjoyed having the chance to reconnect with Kevin Max, - TopicsExpress

I truly enjoyed having the chance to reconnect with Kevin Max, Dwayne Larring, Jared Byers, and Will McGinniss of Audio Adrenaline last week in Winston-Salem over coffee. They went to Haiti to visit with The Hands & Feet Project (Will and Mark Stuart started and still play lead roles in the direction of The Hands & Feet Project) and also to the Dominican Republic in January just after my trip. We compared stories and reflected upon the huge gap that exists between so many Hatians daily lives and ours as Americans. I think the trip down may have been the first for Jared and Dwayne and I think we were all truly blessed by our experiences and came back with a sincere passion for the Hatian people. The message and awareness that Audio Adrenaline brings to the stage and the radio regarding the plight of the poor, the orphaned, and the abandoned, not just with the Hands & Feet Project, but, also in support of Food for the Hungry is sincere and true. I know that Will is in Haiti helping out at least a couple of times each year and that original AudioA singer/current director of Hands & Feet Mark Stuart is down there on a routine basis. As I told them, going to the shows and enjoying the music is a ton of fun for my family and I, but, the work of The Hands & Feet Project in the lives of my family and I has been truly life-changing. Im so grateful to all of them and to all of the other people that make their mission work from Marks parents Drex and Jo to the families that oversee and direct their Childrens Villages in Haiti: The Suttons, The Moores, The Mulligans, and (soon) The Foshees. handsandfeetproject.org/
