I try and spread only good news. We read so much in the news about disasters; there is so much bad news flooding our consciousness. If I read and listen to the news all the time, I am sure to scare myself. I gave up reading the newspapers a long time ago. Any piece of news I am meant to know, someone will tell me. The media wants to sell their products, so they dig up the worst-case scenarios to catch our attention. I would like to see a boycott on all news until the media begins to tell us at least 75% good news. This would encourage us all to see life in a more positive way. We could begin by writing to the papers, magazines, and TV stations, requesting more good news. Together, we can envision positive news happening, and we can hear the cry for love that is hidden in every negative report.
