I try really hard to practice awareness in my everyday life. I choose my words carefully and I try to observe as many perspective as possible. Despite all of this there are some things that I can not reason. Why is it so difficult for some to realize how poisonous and destructive their negative feelings are? Im not saying that I never have any bad thoughts. I do. The difference here is that I choose not to act on them nor allow them to control me. I wont shame myself for my thoughts either. Instead I simply acknowledge them and let them fade away. I dont want my insight to be perceived as condescending. I dont think I am any better than any other person. What is different about me is my ability to see myself as an individual and something that belongs to a much greater entity. We are all in this together and we belong to one another. Humans are not perfect and thats a beautiful thing. We all have lessons to learn. My purpose of writing this is not to change anyone. I know that I cannot change people. This is for me, but if it can inspire any reflection that would definitely be a bonus.
