I typed fingers to nubs on televisionwithoutpity back in the day. Then it was bought by NBC Universal (Bravo) and it was still not bad at all. TV Recaps unrivaled in insight & detail. Often very funny, deeply emotional, and mind expanding (Looking at you, Jacob Clifton) to the Recaplet just-tell-me what I missed! ?? Forums moderated to within an inch of their life in the best possible sense (Topic relevance - no boards-on-boards chat, lots of great things... and none of the bad things one usually associates with moderated anything.) One of the most well known & respected sites on the internet is being shuttered. I am incredibly sad about it too. A lot of talented writers are losing their jobs. A lot of forum users around the world are losing their safe, fun, literate community. Its A BAD DAY. A bad day for the internet.
