I understand now what you say about Abu Bakr Albaghdadi and it is - TopicsExpress

I understand now what you say about Abu Bakr Albaghdadi and it is suspicious what he is doing. However, you are not talking about the Kufr your king is doing! I said to him: are you willing to discuss this issue with reason and logic through the Quran and Sunnah or through emotions? He said: through Quran and Sunnah of course! I said: alright. Tell me why you think he is kafir and I will see if through the Quran and Sunnah he is a kafir or not. He said: He is bombing Muslim children and women in Syria and helping the disbelievers and this is one of the nullifiers of Islam. I said to him: killing Muslims is indeed a major sin and a big problem if it was for no legitimate reason but it doesn’t nullify Islam. Allah described the Muslims fighting one another as Muslims: “And if two parties or groups among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both, but if one of them rebels against the other, then fight you (all) against the one that which rebels till it complies with the Command of Allah; then if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Verily! Allah loves those who are equitable.” 49:9 As for helping the disbelievers, there is a difference between helping them so that their false religion would prevail and Islam would fall and between doing that for financial gains or for worldly matters. I asked him: do you know a companion named Hatib Ibn Abi Balta’ah? He said: Never heard of him! I explained to him that when the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam wanted to conquer Makkah on the 8th year of Hijrah, he sent a letter to the idol worshippers warning them that the Prophet and his companions are coming. Allah informed His Messenger of this and the message was intercepted. When asked, he justified this by saying that he knew that the victory would be to the Muslims without a doubt but he wanted them to remember him for it after a while as he is not originally from there. Umer sought permission to kill him. The Prophet told him not to because he was one of the fighters in the battle of Badr and Allah has forgiving their sins. He said: what is your point? I said: Hatib collaborated with the disbelievers against the Muslims and he informed them about sensitive information which is considered spying in nowadays terms. This, according to you nullifies Islam, right? He said yes. I said: if it nullified Islam, witnessing Badr wouldn’t have helped as this is major Kufr. This means that his act didn’t nullify Islam, though it was a major sin. This is why scholars say that there is a difference between collaborating with the disbelievers for worldly matters and for religious matters. Does the king help Americans so that their Christianity would prevail over Islam? Is he doing this against all Muslims? The answer is obviously ‘no’. Therefore, what he is doing is not Kufr but rather a major sin if it wasn’t justifiable. In Arabic, this is known as the difference from Mowalat and Tawalli. Do you know Arabic? He said no. I said to myself: That figures!
