I used to love Afriecan American History: books, movies, pictures, stories, anything that gave insight on what our ancestors & elders endured before us. I guess my heart was still pure then cuz now when I watch stuff like this I just feel enraged, my filled w/ so many unanswered questions. I mean, we adapted Christainity yet history proves that it was taught to us by our slavers. but even the Bible mentions war & in war there are casulties....why didnt we just fight? right there on African soil? why didnt we just put up the biggest fight known to history before being lead to a never ending cycle of rascim & slavery. (its just modern-day now, but slavery non-the-less). we decided to fight 4our children & future generations years after the damage had been done, the cycle had been started, now , itll always be this way. society down these niggaz today but lookin @ movies like this makes me feel safer w/ them than had I lived in those days. #run up n these young niggaz house tryna take sum, let alone take them
